Holyoake's mission is to build better futures for individuals, families and communities by providing hope, opportunity and support for people to reach their potential.
We are a non-profit community organisation based in Western Australia and have been empowering people to change their lives for over 40 years.
Our experienced staff provide holistic, evidence-based programs in counselling and support to individuals and families impacted by alcohol, drugs and related issues.
Through our DRUMBEAT and Wellbeing@Work social enterprises, we provide training and professional development to corporate, government, education and community service sectors.
The Holyoake Approach
We work within four principles of self-responsibility, acceptance and respect, person-centred practice, and peer inspiration.
The DRUMBEAT Quest Story
In 2003, we developed the DRUMBEAT® Program as an alternative to traditional talk based therapy, to engage Aboriginal youth who were 'at risk' due to social isolation and disengagement.
The success of this evidence-based program in showing measurable social impact has resulted in its spread from Australia to New Zealand, USA and Canada.
Building on this foundation, Holyoake developed DRUMBEAT Quest®, embracing a digital medium that is highly engaging to achieve measurable academic and social emotional impact.
